I haven’t posted anything new ina very, very long time and, as you could guess, that is because Heroic Lich King has been an insufferable dick. However! I bring tidings of cheer to Azeroth, the Lich King is dead, for really reals this time. HUGE congrats to everyone who has put in countless hours to make this happen. When Plaguechill formed we originally intended to kill Heroic Lich king as our first notable thing, we’d hoped to be hard mode ready by the time Ice Crown was released and that anything else was icing on the cake. Well let me tell you that this is one delicious cake (WARNING INCOMING BRAGGING), we’ve managed to take the server first hard mode kill of every boss in ToGC and ICC, as well as a few notables in Ulduar when we were first getting started. This success is due to the very hard work of the entire guild. Everyone (even those who have left us) has been an extremely important part of everything we’ve done. Our original mission is complete and we all feel happier than this guy (NSFW) on National Unicorn Day, but we’ve still got a dragon-shaped loose end to tie up. ‘Grats again, everyone!

I haven’t posted an update in FOREVER because that silly Lich King just won’t die! To make up for the lack of activity I present to the community the Plaguechill Cafe Press store with TONS of PC Apparel from shirts to hoodies to mugs and yes, even PANTIES! There’s no markup so we’re not making any money, but if you’d like to sport a comfy hoodie with our awesome logo (designed by yours truly) the world would certainly be a cooler place! Thanks to Scooty for the effort put in to set up the shop and I hope some people find something they enjoy! I might even end up doing some more art/logo’s to put up to add some variety!

Posting this late, like a late night snack. Sindy’s dead. That’s 11/12 HM bosses down, and just. one. left. over. We’re lookin’ at you LK, and I bet you’d be tasty with mustard and swiss.

Heroic Professor Putricide has officially goo’d himself. While all of Plaguechill deeply admires a man who takes so closely after us, the time had finally come to bump him off and get on with it. So while we will miss the long talks about science, the goo and the love, we have claimed his loot and moved on. It was a very special evening, and we will miss him deeply. Afterward we pushed through our sorrow and beat on Sindragosa, it seems she too si weakened with grief, and will likely not survive much longer. Our hearts are with the Professor’s family, we’re sorry we stabbed him in his jabooglies.

Princes? Down. Blood Queen? Down. Dreamwalker? Alive (The kind of alive that drops loot). Essentially I’m slow at posting and we’ve killed a lot in the last 3 raids. We’ve also got our first wing clear! Congrats to everyone on kicking ass, and yippee skippy there’s only 4 more HM’s left in the zone!

After a *large* number of 1% wipes we finally had the stars align and dominated Festergut’s HM. Everyone put in a ton of work on this one, definitely more of a challenge than we had first expected to get those last few percent with people DCing or dying to silly stuff. ‘Grats to everyone on the (near) flawless victory!

After putting in some serious effort to knock HM Deathbringer off his balcony, we succeeded tonight. After we mopped up we figured it was time to celebrate the PC way so we sent Hm Rotface to sleep with the oozes. Excellent work tonight, The Furball returns with a vengeance!

Marrowgar on Hard Mode was more challenging than expected. No, he wasn’t very hard, but I think we assumed he’d just sorta…fall over. It was interesting playing with Bone Spikes during the BOOOOOONE STOOOOOOOORM, but was mostly just frustrating trying to heal them through the damage. Grats on the kill my minions, go forth and bring me more kills!

Normally I say a bunch of inspiring things, talk about the kill and spell something wrong. BUT NOT THIS TIME! All I’ve got to say is that I truly, truly hate ice spheres. Oh also, grats on the kill y’all.

No, this has nothing to do with entering the world of the Oozes and learning their ways until we were accepted as one of them, nor does it star Kevin Costner. It’s just the story of an Abominabortion and his ooze, and how we ran from it. Rotface’s meta is out of the way and next up is Festergut tomorrow. I’ve enjoyed this wing so far, it fills me with plaguey goodness and leaves me sticky and diseased. Good job so far Blizzard, and of course good job ‘Chillers who were in on the kill!
